Jim is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Appraiser for Aurora Loan Services, a Lehman Brothers Company. Previous positions include: Director of Research and Technical Issues for The Appraisal Foundation (2000-2003), Senior Real Estate Analyst, PMI, and Senior Review Appraiser, Chevy Chase Bank (1992-1997). Other professional activities include, 2006 and 2007 Chair of The Appraisal Foundation’s Industry Advisory Council, 2007 member of the MBA Appraisal Fraud Task Force, 2007 member of the Appraisal Institute’s Client Advisory Board, and 2003-2006 member of the Appraisal Institute Appraisal Standards Council. Jim graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
