With 18 years of mortgage fraud experience, Tim Ervin joined the staff of EMC Mortgage Corporation as Vice President of the Fraud Prevention Group in December, 2006.

Tim Ervin manages EMC Mortgage Corporation’s FPD/EPDAudit Team and supervises the fraud investigations at EMC Mortgage. In addition, Mr. Ervin works with Fraud Prevention staff at Bear Stearns’ wholesale and correspondent lenders, Bear Stearns Residential Mortgage Corporation and Encore Credit.

Prior to joining EMC, Tim Ervin owned his own firm which specialized in mortgage fraud investigations. Prior to owning his own investigation firm, Mr. Ervin was the manager of another investigation firm which worked with Freddie Mac’s Fraud Investigation Unit and also held an exclusive contract with VEREX Mortgage Insurance to all claim investigations.
