Mr. Arterberry has served in the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice since 1981 and currently holds the position of executive deputy chief in the Criminal Division's Fraud Section. He chairs two of the Department's enforcement coordinating bodies, the Interagency Bank Fraud Enforcement Working Group and the Securities and Commodities Fraud Working Group.

Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Arterberry served as a trial attorney in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Arterberry holds a Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
