Mindi Robinson is a shareholder in the firm of Slaten & O’Connor, P.C., and heads the firm’s financial services litigation practice area which includes representation of banks, mortgage companies, savings and loans, finance companies, loan servicers, title companies and various other institutional lenders which provide financial services to both consumers and businesses. Ms. Robinson currently devotes the majority of her practice to the representation of financial institutions in litigation both proactively and defensively in State and Federal courts throughout the Southeast, with emphasis on lender liability defense, secondary market disputes including loan repurchase and indemnity litigation, recovery and mitigation of losses associated with mortgage fraud, including actions for recovery against borrowers, appraisers and closing agents, and defense of TILA, RESPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, negligent servicing, deceptive trade practices and other claims routinely asserted against financial services institutions.

Mindi obtained her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1996, and is admitted to practice in State and Federal Courts in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.
