David R. Sharrock, 71, Mansfield, Ohio, was sentenced to 135 months in prison and ordered to pay $767,462 in restitution for his role a mortgage fraud scheme which caused approximately $1.3 million in losses to five lending institutions.

Karin A. Hazel, aka Karin A. Caruso, aka Karin A. Corbin, Canal Winchester, Ohio, pleaded guilty to tax and mortgage fraud crimes just before her trial was to begin.
David R. Morgan Chase Bank, Washington Mutual Bank, Interbay Funding LLC, and Suntrust Mortgage Inc.
Paul Kramer, 43, Granger, Iowa, was sentenced on August 19, 2013, by Chief United States District Judge James E. Gritzner to 90 months in prison for wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy. Judge Gritzner also sentenced Kramer to five years of supervised release following incarceration.
Filippos Milios, also known as “Filip,” 54, Newington, Connecticut, Malgorzata Karas-Golka, also known as “Margaret,” 45, Newington, and Carmelinda Marotta, also known as “Linda,” 44, Manchester, Connecticut, have been indicted and charged with participating in a mortgage fraud scheme involving the purchase of more than 40 properties throughout Connecticut.
Gabriel Serrano, 47, West Hartford, Connecticut, waived his right to indictment and pleaded guilty before United States Magistrate Judge Donna F. Martinez in Hartford to conspiracy charges stemming from his role in an extensive mortgage fraud scheme. Serrano, an attorney, is a partner in the law firm of Serrano & Serrano, LLC.
Seung E. Oh, a/k/a Sandy Oh, 44, Great Falls, Virginia, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles, Jr. to 51 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to commit bank fraud and money laundering in connection with a scheme to fraudulently obtain loans with resulting losses of over $100 million.
Paul Wagner, 59, Las Vegas, Nevada, a homebuilder has been sentenced to 14 years in prison, five years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $4.4 million in restitution for selling houses at inflated prices in order to fraudulently obtain mortgage loans.
Richard Saddler, St. Louis County, Missouri, owned Omicron Capital LLC, a company in the business of assisting customers in refinancing commercial and real estate loans, has been indicted on fraud charges.
Michelle V. Mallard, 46, Charlotte, North Carolina, a former lawyer, pleaded guilty mid-trial on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, to mortgage fraud-related charges.
