Daniel Rosenthal, 31, Yorba Linda, California, was arraigned on charges of submitting fraudulent loan applications to three Bay Area banks using a false name and then laundering more than $2.5 million in fraudulently obtained proceeds.

Andrew Constantinou, 58, Unionville, Connecticut, a former loan officer at GMAC Mortgage and Countrywide Home Loans, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for his role in a mortgage fraud scheme arising from the purchases of more than 40 properties in New Haven, Connecticut.
Christian Peterson, 45, Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Barbara B. Crabb to seven years in federal prison following his convictions for bank fraud, money laundering, and making false statements to banks. Peterson was previously convicted of lying about the purpose of a $1.1 million loan for real estate development.
Irfan M. Jameel, 52, Virginia Beach, Virginia, was sentenced to 108 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for committing wire fraud, bank fraud, and using of a false social security number.
Abdallah Suleiman Kitwara, 44, Bowie, Maryland, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge George J. Hazel to 15 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiring to commit wire fraud arising from a residential mortgage fraud scheme wherein he used another individual’s identity, false income and credit information to induce a lender to provide a home mortgage loan.
Thomas Provenzano, 48, Torrington, Connecticut, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton to 18 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for his role in a series of fraudulent real estate transactions.
Evelyn Brigget Sanchez, 32, and Darling Arlette Montalvo, 33, both of Bakersfield, California, were convicted by a federal jury for their involvement in an extensive mortgage fraud scheme that ran from October 2005 to May 2007.
Daniel Lee Rosales, 21, Killeen, TX, was sentenced to two years in federal prison for stealing money from U.S. Army soldiers though a fraudulent loan scam.
Peter W. Hayes, 49, Newark, Delaware, pleaded guilty to one count of accepting a gift for procuring loans, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 215. United States District Judge Richard G. Andrews scheduled a sentencing hearing for March 17, 2015, at 9 a.m.
Christopher Wayne White, 44, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, pled guilty in three separate fraud cases before U.S. District Judge William P. Dimitrouleas involving escrow fraud, making false statements to a lender in connection with the purchase of a luxury home as well as false statements on his naturalization application.
