Jason G. Haywood pled guilty to charges that he knowingly made a false statement for the purpose of influencing the action of American Home Mortgage, n/k/a Wells Fargo, in connection with a loan for a residential property. The defendant stated in a loan application that his net worth was more than $1.9 million, when in truth and in fact, as he knew well, his net worth was not this amount.

Haywood was charged April 11, 2012.
