William Tisdale, Jr., and Hubert Jones, III, have been sentenced on October 24, 2012, for their roles in a Texas-based mortgage fraud scheme.
According to a Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Jorge A Solis, William Tisdale was sentenced to prison for a term of 120 months followed by 3 years Supervised Release. Hubert Jones was sentenced to prison for a term of 58 months also followed by 3 years Supervised Release. Restitution shall be determined at a later date.
As previously reported by Mortgage Fraud Blog, former Dallas Cowboy Eugene Lockhart, Carrollton, Texas, and Tisdale were convicted by a jury on all counts of a superseding indictment charging them with various offenses related to a mortgage fraud scheme in which they participated in the Dallas, Texas, area from approximately 2002 to 2005. U.S. District Judge Jorge A. Solis declared a mistrial for defendant Suzette Switzer Hinds, 46, Dallas, Texas, as the jury could not reach a verdict on her. The remaining defendants charged in the case each pleaded guilty. Each of the following four defendants, all Texas residents, were convicted as follows:
William Randolph Tisdale, Jr., Dallas, Texas, was convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of bank fraud.
Hubert Jones, III, Garland, Texas, was convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of bank fraud and one count of wire fraud.
